What you need to understand
Read slowly, take notes and ask about anything that is unclear. The goal is steady understanding—not rushing to the next number.
Allah is the Creator and only Lord
Allah created and sustains everything. He is perfect, unlike His creation, needs nothing, hears and sees all things, and is nearer by His knowledge and response.
Tawhid means directing prayer, hope, reliance, sacrifice and every act of worship to Allah alone.
The six articles of faith
A Muslim believes in Allah, His angels, His revealed books, His messengers, the Last Day and divine decree—its good and painful parts.
These are connected: revelation tells us why we are here, the messengers show the path, and the Last Day gives moral life accountability and hope.
Divine decree and human choice
Allah knows and decrees all things, while people still possess a real will and are responsible for choices within their ability. We do not use destiny to excuse sin or stop taking practical means.
When hardship comes, belief in qadar brings patience; when good comes, it brings gratitude rather than pride.

Important boundaries
- Do not imagine Allah in the form of creation.
- Do not learn creed from anonymous argument clips designed to provoke fear or sectarian conflict.
