Abu Dharr (may Allah be pleased with him) reported that the Prophet (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The deeds of my Ummah, the good and the bad thereof, were presented to me. Original Arabic wording
عن أبي ذر رضي الله عنه قال: قال النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم :«عُرِضَتْ عَلَيَّ أعمالُ أُمتي، حَسَنُهَا وسَيِّئُهَا فَوَجَدتُ في مَحَاسِنِ أَعْمَالِهَا الأَذَى يُمَاطُ عَنِ الطَّرِيقِ، ووَجَدتُ في مَسَاوِئِ أَعْمَالِهَا النُّخَاعَةُ تَكُونُ في المَسْجِدِ لا تُدْفَنُ».Understand this hadith
Allah, Glorified and Exalted, presented the deeds of all Muslims to our Prophet (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) and he found the removal of harmful things from the road among the good deeds, and spitting in the mosque and not removing the spit by burying it or by any other way is among the bad deeds.
